Aristocrat MedSpa Launches Laser Tattoo Removal Service

New York, New York (PRWEB) February 03, 2012

Aristocrat Plastic Surgery & MedSpa, located in Great Neck, Long Island, and Manhattan, New York, is now offering Laser Tattoo Removal technology to eliminate or greatly reduce tattoos.

Aristocrat utilizes the RevLite laser technology, developed by Cynosure, a leading medical aesthetic laser technology company. RevLite is considered to be the Gold Standard for laser tattoo removal and the most advanced technology available today for the removal of black and multi-colored tattoos. It is widely regarded as a safe and effective treatment for a wide range of tattoos. The laser works well on all skin types and is FDA-approved.

Laser tattoo removal is very affordable at Aristocrat. Treatments start at only $ 49 per inch and package pricing is available. You can also take advantage of zero percent financing since multiple treatments are required in order to produce great results.

The clinical team at Aristocrat Plastic Surgery & MedSpa is highly experienced and headed by Dr. Kevin Tehrani, a Board Certified plastic surgeon, who has performed thousands of plastic surgery procedures and is now pioneering laser tattoo removal in the New York area including Long Island and Manhattan.

According to Dr. Kevin Tehrani, Medical Director, Aristocrat Plastic Surgery & MedSpa At Aristocrat, laser tattoo removal is unique. We use the Kirby-Desai scale to evaluate your tattoos and accurately estimate the number of treatments required. This approach enables Aristocrat to offer a guarantee for the number of treatments required to treat a particular tattoo.

Therefore, if the number of treatments necessary exceeds this estimate, the additional treatments are performed free of charge at Aristocrat. This is a unique guarantee offered by Aristocrat and exemplifies their confidence in the efficacy of this new and exciting technology.

According to Theresa Pinson, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, MedSpa Director at Aristocrat, The RevLite PhotoAcoustic laser technology breaks the ink down into tiny particles which are gradually removed by the bodys natural filtering system.

The experienced team of registered nurse practitioners and certified estheticians at Aristocrat perform a broad range of non-invasive aesthetic procedures in a warm, compassionate, service-oriented setting.

Aristocrat offers both surgical and non-surgical medical aesthetic services including, but not limited to, breast augmentation, liposuction, tummy tucks, body lifts, Zeltiq Coolsculpting, Ultherapy skin tightening, laser hair removal, Botox, Dysport, Restylane and other fillers, and other services.

As Laser Hair Removal Becomes Increasingly Popular, Bristol Doctor Warns Patients Not to Compromise on Standards

Bristol (PRWEB UK) 23 December 2011

If a woman shaves her legs 11,000 times in her life, just imagine the money spent on razors, let alone the time. Frustratingly, shaving doesnt even last, with many women feeling the early stubble by the end of the day. Waxing is an alternative which lasts longer, but also costs more and can also cause uncomfortable and unsightly in-growing hairs.

Laser hair removal offers the genuine promise of being hair free. The treatment works by destroying the hair follicle with a beam of concentrated light. The pigment in the hair follicle is selectively heated and damaged, so that the hair literally falls out and doesnt re-grow. Since the laser only works on an active hair follicle, the treatment is normally carried out as a course of around 6 sessions in order to treat all the follicles at their different stages in the growth cycle. After that, patients can generally expect to be up to 95% hair free and only a quick whiz with the razor every couple of weeks is required.

Laser hair removal also suits problem hair issues such as in-growing hairs, or excessive facial or body hair. No wonder it is so popular.

However, medical professionals are warning that this popularity could come at a cost. To meet the demand, laser hair removal, including the popular IPL (intense pulsed light) machines, is now quite widely available; yet the industry remains unregulated and there have been a number of cases of severe burns.

As with all cosmetic treatments, from anti-wrinkle injections and chemical peels to hair colouring, customers should choose their provider very carefully.

Bristol cosmetic doctor, Dr John Quinn, has specialised in Medical Aesthetics since 2005 and has treated literally thousands of patients. His Clifton-based clinic, Q Clinics, offer laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments.

Surprisingly, Q Clinics is the ONLY independent laser hair removal clinic in Bristol to be registered with the Care Quality Commission, ensuring rigorous clinical standards of excellence.

Dr Quinn commented: Laser hair removal is a fantastic therapy and our patients love the feeling of confidence and freedom it gives them, as well as smooth stubble-free skin.

However, I definitely support calls for regulation of the laser industry. Lasers are extremely powerful and effective, but to protect patients safety, in my opinion, they should only be used in registered clinics where there is medical supervision.

One and a half million cosmetic surgery procedures will be carried out in the UK this year and this is a growth industry. We need regulations to protect the public.

I would advise patients to consider carefully where they choose for their treatment. Dont be tempted by cheap deals, look instead for a specialist Doctor-led company where the laser therapists have been highly trained and are supervised by a fully qualified medical professional. Also look out for the CQC logo, as any company that has been registered with the Care Quality Commission has to reach rigorous clinical standards in the patients best interest.

Before embarking on any treatment, patients should always have a full medical review and a patch test, even if theyve had similar treatment before elsewhere.

Provide you are in safe hands, laser hair removal should be quick, painless and effective for years to come.

Dr John Quinn is fully registered with the General Medical Council and has been a GP in Bristol since 2004. He has specialised in cosmetic medicine for over 6 years and has performed thousands of procedures. He is a full member of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors.

Dr Quinns own practice, Q Clinics, specialises in cosmetic medicine in Clifton, Bristol. It is a Doctor owned and led clinic, fully registered with the Care Quality Commission (the only independent GP-led laser hair removal clinic in Bristol to have chosen to have this registration).

The clinic offers a comprehensive range of treatments, from wrinkle-relaxing injections and dermal fillers to laser hair removal, vein treatment and IPL facial rejuvenation.
